Constructed in 1902, the two and one half story, red brick, Second Renaissance Revival style building was designed by Denver architects Willis Marean and Albert Norton. The Denver Children's Home Association celebrated a century of serving children in 1981. The association traces its roots to the earliest Denver organization providing care for orphans, the Denver Ladies' Relief Society founded in 1873.
